“Our days are filled with perceptions”

Per cep"tion Noun :Latin perceptio confer French perception

Think of all the perceptions i might have while standing in a metro as it takes me from Tollygaunge to Dumdum,It’s stuffy here and i start thinking like....what am I doing with my life?I think,I wish,I feel,I wonder and that could all happen before i reach to the Central.

Perception is actually a conscious mental registration of a sensory stimulus. Beyond this traditional meaning, people generally agree on some level that there is much more to perception than meets the senses. Perhaps i’ve looked behind and knowing someone was looking my way or ever thought,I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a good day.It seems clear that certain kinds of perception are innate.

But sometimes if you may calmly watch the patterns of your heart rhythms on a heart monitor, the wave running across the screen can suddenly turn erratic if you simply focus on something that makes you angry or recall some incident that affected adversely. Here is another form of perception that creates stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue and a range of unbearable conditions and is based on the past experience. In reality,it is our response to these perceptions that is the prime factor. What would you say???

hmmm...comments are necessary?? ok..

Perception is the dynamic process that includes some processes like receving, selecting, organising of the stimuli and give them a proper name. This is a bookish definition, but what's not true in this piece is that, you merged perception with stress.

stress comes out in a different way, perception is how you identify your surroundings and this also involves congnitive factors, psychological factors, age difference, and interests as internal factors...

sorry, I got bookish again. you talked about your perception. and I agree with you that perception at times leads to strssful situations but thats called projection. people try to apply the cognitive learning over a thing, which he experienced lately. And obviously, perception is mostly depends on the interest of a person. An engineer will treat a telephone wire diffenetly than a layman.

But, one thing I could not perceive, why such philosophical blog after a long time? Were you banished somewhere, or read some literature that made you think this way...I will expect a blog on this issue...

Perception is the way you feel.
It has a feeble correlation with the existing situation.
It makes the world so divergent, subjective and charming.
The thought of "perception" as a metter of discussion also comes to mind of some charmer girls.
