Destiny

Through out their lives, people have a lot of interest in themselves. Amongst all interest, which they are most interested in, is their ‘Destiny’.I think that the Destiny is basically what we are here on the earth to achieve it.The problems we are faced with, of course, are what exactly the destiny is and how do we go about fulfilling it?However people use it in different senses than permitted by dictionaries. Some maintain that destiny is ultimately what you arrive at in your life. And always for those who believe in destiny has to believe in fate.

In philosophy the destiny is defined as “ the spiritual will of a person; a deep inner need; something that drives us to do what seems impossible. It nurtures us with hope in our darkest moments; enables us to dream of better things; and resides in a place where we are destined to find our fulfillment”. Further, for guidance of the life, Philosophers have laid four Purushaarthas : Dharma, Artha, Kaama and Moksha. The law of Karma says that all that happens in one's life is result of his own deeds. One can never escape the fruits of whatever he has done. It may be that the result of some act may take more time to fructify than the remaining life span of the person who committed that act.Science also said that if the causal laws of the mechanistic functions are known, and initial conditions given, then the future of any particular event can be correctly predicted. (Source: La Place concept). Newton’s Laws of motion had given this confidence because as per the laws of gravitation position of any body could be correctly predicted either on earth or in heavens.

There is no contradiction in between the philosophy and science that we are in control of our lives and everything that happens to us is as a result of a predetermined plan. So the responsibility for finding our Destiny is ours alone. It can never be given to us by anyone else because it only belongs to us.

the idea tickles up thoughts, and the thoughts speak that we are all destiny's child. from the very first moment of our life we are destined to search our own destiny...

You did a great job by mixing both philosophy and science and churned them in a cauldron and served a little to taste...

We can write a book over destiny. The term is very enticing for a thinker...nice work..in a short form..keep it up..

Its good to find u in the blogging world. Do keep on writing as much as possible.
Went thru ur blog , it felt nice , but it would have been better if you can emphasise more on the four Purushaastras.

Don't You think that in most of the cases, we do not know where our destiny is and somthings come in our life in course time. And we start thinking in our whole life that porbably it was the thing for what we aspired for. However, Density is not roaming in the impossible, but the determination to carck the impossible and many more..

But if it is predetermined, and if the nature of the universe is deterministic , then free will seems to be an illusion right?
